David Jung

Director Of Technology Innovation at Yaskawa Motoman

David Jung has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David began their career as a Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1998 and worked there until 2007. In 2005, they joined Apez Corp as a Director and remained in that role until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer at EgoMachines. Subsequently, they joined Pilot Flying J in 2014 as a Senior Data Scientist. In 2016, they became the Chief Software Architect at Yaskawa Innovation (Motoman Robotics) and later took on the role of Director of Technology Innovation. David is responsible for leading innovation efforts and developing new products and software for emerging applications and markets.

David Jung obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Adelaide, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. In 1993, they pursued a Diploma in Software Engineering at the University of South Australia. Subsequently, they completed their Ph.D. in Robotics at The Australian National University from 1995 to 1998.
