Kent Wills is an experienced technology leader and engineer currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Yelp since May 2014. With a strong focus on engineering effectiveness and consumer experience, Kent has led multiple teams within Yelp, including the Core Experience Group and the Engineering Effectiveness group, overseeing numerous developers and product platforms. Prior to Yelp, Kent gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer with the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory and served in various leadership roles within the US Army, including Director of Battalion Tactical Director and Manager of Fire Control Platoon. Kent holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
