Austin Arnold currently serves as Associate Executive Director at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, where responsibilities include overseeing operational departments and enhancing member experiences for over 20,000 individuals at the Green Hills YMCA. With a background featuring roles such as Senior Program Director, Aquatics & Family Director, and Risk Management Specialist at the same organization, Austin has successfully led initiatives to manage diverse programming and staffing, particularly during the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior experience at the Greater Austin YMCA includes roles as Membership Director and Association Recruitment Specialist, demonstrating strong leadership in membership growth and community engagement. Austin’s early career included service as a Signal Support Specialist in the US Army and various positions in youth programs at YMCA camps.
