Dawn Southgate Neilson

Dawn Southgate Neilson's work experience includes serving as the COO of Yoobi, an school supplies brand with a philanthropic mission, since 2014. Dawn has also held various roles at the Kids In Need Foundation from 2017 to 2023, including Immediate Past Chair, Board Member, Board Chair, and Vice Chair. Dawn served as the COO of Beach House Group, a brand development company, from 2016 to 2019, and as the COO of Cheeky Home, a tableware brand focused on ending hunger, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate at Point B, Inc. and held various roles at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, Inc. and Tesco PLC. Dawn also worked as a Director at UBS Investment Bank and as a Managing Consultant at Capgemini Consulting. Dawn began their career as a Business Analyst and Project Manager at Harrods.

Dawn Southgate Neilson has a diverse educational background, with a focus on Information Technology and Tourism Studies. In 1982, they attended The King's School in Ottery St Mary but did not obtain a degree or specialization. Dawn went on to pursue their Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honors in Tourism Studies at Bournemouth University from 1988 to 1992. Later, in 1993 and 1994, Dawn attended Loughborough University, where they earned their Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology.
