Thomas Kober

Thomas Kober is an accomplished Principal Applied Scientist at Zalando since May 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Applied Scientist. Prior to Zalando, Thomas worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Rasa from March 2020 to March 2022. An academic background includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at The University of Edinburgh (January 2018 - February 2020) and a Doctoral degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Sussex, earned between 2014 and 2017. Thomas also completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex from 2011 to 2014. Early career experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at mquadr.at software engineering & consulting GmbH and a Software Engineer at COMIT.
