Jacob E. Miller

Jacob E. Miller is a Senior Quantum Research Scientist at Zapata AI, where leadership in the ML Research team is complemented by a focus on enhancing the intersection of quantum computing and machine learning through tensor networks. Previously, Jacob served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, concentrating on machine learning problems via tensor networks, and as a Visiting Researcher, developing a passion for ML research. Educational credentials include a PhD in Quantum Computing and a Master's degree in Physics from The University of New Mexico, where Jacob also worked as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Jacob's academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Physics from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.
