Matthieu Balmes has had a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Matthieu began their career in 2010 as an R&D Engineer at Alkante, followed by a Stagiaire role at IBM in 2008. In 2011, they co-founded Fastcook and served as a R&D Engineer. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Acrelec as a Tech Lead and at JoliCode as a Web Consultant. In 2016, they joined LION by TheFamily as a Developer Track and in 2017, they began working at Zelros as a Lead of Engineering and Lead Software Development Engineer.
Matthieu Balmes received their Baccalauréat from Marseilleveyre in 2002-2004, majoring in Mathématiques. Matthieu then attended CentraleSupélec from 2006-2010, where they earned an Ingénieur généraliste degree in Electronique, Traitement du signal, and Informatique.
