Oliver Kesterton is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Controls and Instrumentation and previously as a Control Systems Engineer at Zero® since May 2023, where responsibilities include the design of control systems for achieving net zero fuel production. Prior to this, Oliver Kesterton worked at Rolls-Royce from September 2018 to May 2023, contributing as a Control Systems Engineer for the MT30 gas turbine and serving as an Engineering Graduate with diverse placements in aerothermals, system design, and manufacturing. Earlier experience includes a Development Engineering Internship at Rolls-Royce focusing on software tools for component life tracking, a Flight Simulation Internship at the University of Bristol aimed at enhancing aerospace engineering education, and an internship at RepRap Professional Ltd. for 3D print head technology development. Kesterton holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, earned between 2014 and 2018, and completed secondary education at King Edward VI Grammar School, Chelmsford.
