Robbie Sawers

Robbie Sawers is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Zillow since September 2018, Robbie focuses on building technology that enhances customer and agent experiences with Zillow Home Loans. Prior roles at Zillow include Director of Engineering, where Robbie promoted GraphQL adoption and established new business integrations, and Senior Manager of Engineering, responsible for scaling the Zillow Offers business. Before joining Zillow, Robbie took a sabbatical dedicated to personal growth, and prior to that, held multiple engineering and management positions at Amazon from July 2005 to December 2016, contributing to various projects including Amazon Go and supply chain management systems. Robbie holds a degree from the University of Washington, earned between 2001 and 2005.
