Junfeng Zhuang

Junfeng Zhuang is a technology leader with extensive experience in the software engineering field, currently serving as Director of Technology at Zip since September 2020, where responsibilities include managing teams in Payments, Vendor, and Infrastructure. Prior to this role, Junfeng was a Founding Engineer at Zip, focusing on initial product development. Junfeng's experience at Airbnb from July 2015 to September 2020 includes roles as Engineering Manager for Experiences Search and Staff Software Engineer for Search Platform and Experiences Guest. Junfeng also contributed significantly to the launch of Airbnb experiences as a Senior Software Engineer. Earlier in the career, Junfeng worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer on projects related to Japan growth and iOS functionalities, after completing a Software Engineer Internship focused on trending topic backend development. Junfeng holds a B.S.E in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, earned in 2014.
