Hailey Szybunka is an ambitious engineer with a strong background in aeronautics and astronautics, holding both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Stanford University. Current experience includes a Systems Engineering Internship at Zipline since June 2023. Hailey has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses at Stanford University and participated in various research roles, including positions at the Stanford Space Environment and Satellite Systems Laboratory and the Aircraft Aerodynamics and Design Group. Previous internships include a Controls Engineering role at Kittyhawk and an Associate Systems Engineer position at MDA, where tasks involved micrometeoroid and orbital debris analysis, as well as project management duties. Additional experience includes administrative roles at Stanford’s Bing Overseas Program and RBC, and a notable past as a student athlete on the NCAA Division 1 Field Hockey Team.
