Paul Escobar

Paul Escobar currently serves as the State Policy Lead and Staff Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Zoox since March 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Director of Tech & Education Policy at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group from February 2015 to December 2019, and Deputy Field Director for the Sam Liccardo for Mayor campaign in 2014. Additionally, Paul held the position of Director of Graduate and Professional Student Advocacy at the University of California Student Association from September 2013 to May 2014. Paul Escobar earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Religion and Religion, Ethics, and Politics from Harvard Divinity School (2011-2013) and a Bachelor’s degree in French, Rhetoric, and Religious Studies from the University of California, Berkeley (2006-2010).
