Vik Kumar, known as VK, has an extensive background in engineering and management within the technology sector. VK served as the Head of Engineering for Home Automation Security at Google from 2014 to 2016, following the acquisition of Nest Labs, where VK held the position of Director of Engineering focused on home automation from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, VK worked at Microsoft from 2004 to 2010 as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, primarily overseeing security products. VK holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
