Anzhi Yao

Anzhi Yao is a Principal Research Scientist I at AbbVie since February 2025, following a tenure as Senior Scientist II at ArsenalBio, where early research and development for integrated circuit CAR-T products was conducted from October 2019 to February 2025. Previous experience includes positions at The Scripps Research Institute as a Ph.D. student in Dr. Peter Schultz's lab focused on chemical biology, protein engineering, and synthetic biology from August 2014 to October 2019, and as a research assistant in stem cell research under Dr. Hongkui Deng at Peking University from February 2011 to July 2014. An internship at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute in June 2013 involved research on miRNA-protein interactions. Anzhi Yao holds a Ph.D. from Scripps Research (2014-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University (2010-2014).
