Scott Selig

Scott Selig is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as the Manager of Electronics Failure Investigations at Abiomed since August 2019. In this role, Scott has been instrumental in conducting complaint failure investigations and enhancing documentation and testing methods with an emphasis on automation and reproducibility. Previous positions include Electrical Engineer II, where Scott led the Durables Team, and Electrical Engineer I. Prior to joining Abiomed, Scott worked at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Brain Research, contributing to machine learning techniques for neuronal activity analysis, and held internships focused on electrical circuitry design and quality assurance. Scott holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and German Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
