Emily Greytak

Emily Greytak serves as the Director of Research for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) since January 2019, where significant accomplishments include establishing the organization's first research program. In conjunction with this role, Emily Greytak has been an Assistant Professor at Brooklyn College since August 2019, focusing on "LGBTQ+ Youth in Educational Contexts" within the Division of School Psychology, Counseling, & Leadership. Prior experience includes positions such as Director of Research and Senior Research Associate at GLSEN, adjunct faculty roles at Widener University and Texas A&M University-Central Texas, and various research positions including Evaluation Coordinator at the National Science Foundation. Emily Greytak holds a PhD in Education Policy, Management, & Evaluation and has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Haverford College, emphasizing a strong foundation in education policy and gender studies.
