Mike Lacy is a seasoned scientific curator with extensive experience in academic publishing and research. Currently serving as a Scientific Curator at Addgene since June 2021, Mike focuses on data entry and outreach to facilitate the sharing of DNA materials among scientists, while also writing and curating web content. Prior to this role, Mike was the Curation Manager at the American Society for Cell Biology where responsibilities included developing tools for editors and managing an editorial board. Mike's career includes a role as Associate Scientific Editor at Elsevier, managing the operations of two biochemistry journals, and conducting postdoctoral research at Yale University. Mike holds a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and a BS in Biochemistry from Tufts University.
