Michael Jorgens

Michael Jorgens, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product line and project management within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as Senior Product Line Manager at AeroVironment since May 2017, Michael is responsible for P&L, strategic roadmap development, and project portfolio management for critical core-business product lines. Prior roles include Product Line Manager and Program Manager at Meggitt Control Systems, where responsibilities involved budget management, risk management, and strategic solutions for complex technical challenges. Michael's experience also includes positions as Engineering Project Manager and Development Engineer at Pratt and Whitney Rocketdyne, where significant contributions were made to rocket engine development and testing. Michael began a career in engineering as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Hamilton Sundstrand, with a foundational education in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
