Ann Madsen is an experienced professional in the field of epidemiology and public health. Currently serving as VP of Science at Aetion since November 2021, Madsen previously held various senior positions at Pfizer from September 2014 to November 2021, including Sr. Director, Scientific Methods Lead in Global Medical Epidemiology, and Director of Epidemiology/Safety Surveillance Research. Prior to Pfizer, Madsen directed the Office of Vital Statistics and the Data Quality Improvement Unit at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from November 2009 to September 2014. Madsen's career began at Lifecore Biomedical as a QA/RA specialist from July 1997 to August 2000. Madsen earned a PhD and MPH in Epidemiology from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a BS in Biology (Genetics) from the University of Kansas.
