Barbara Teets

Barbara Teets is an experienced professional with a diverse background in sales, business development, and management within the life sciences and technology sectors. Currently, Barbara serves as the Owner/Member at Carolina Design Build, LLC since May 2017. At Agilent Technologies, where Barbara has worked since November 1999, several key roles have included Director of Collaborations and Partnerships, Director of Strategic Programs, and Director of Genomics Sales, overseeing multi-country teams of over 70 employees. Barbara's earlier career includes positions as a Business Team Manager and Sales Development Manager at Agilent Technologies, as well as an Analytical Sales Specialist at Hewlett-Packard from February 1988 to November 1999, and Forensic Scientist for the Commonwealth of Virginia from 1981 to 1988. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry with a focus on Forensic Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Mary Washington.
