Celeste Evans is a highly experienced environmental professional with expertise in project management, business development, and technical review across several prestigious organizations. Currently, Celeste serves as the Senior Technical Director at AKRF since May 2021 and operates a boutique hotel, Moonriver Inn, in the Catskills, New York, achieving acclaim as the highest-rated lodging facility in the area. Previously, Celeste held positions such as Senior Project Manager/Planner at Matrix New World Engineering and Senior Environmental Manager at VHB, where responsibilities included supervising staff, managing complex environmental impact statements, and conducting educational courses on environmental regulations. Additionally, Celeste served as the Deputy Director of Environmental Review for the NYC Department of City Planning, overseeing a team and playing a crucial role in the development of the CEQR Technical Manual. Educational background includes a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
