Quincey Justman

Quincey Justman is the Scientific Director of the Klarman Cell Observatory at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She received her Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco, in 2009 and did postdoctoral work at Harvard University before joining Cell Press in 2015 as a founding editor of Cell Systems, where she was Editor-in-Chief from 2018 through 2021. Quincey wants to understand how cells encode information about their histories and environments in chemistry, probability, and structure; the Klarman Cell Observatory studies questions like this in the context of healthy and diseased tissues.
