Ram is an Altos Advisor. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors at both Aryaka Networks and Joveo, Inc., in addition to serving as an independent director at a number of other privately-held companies. Ram previously was a Managing Partner at Nexus Venture Partners, served as President and CEO of Cast Iron Systems, was the Executive VP at PeopleSoft, Inc., and held senior positions at WebMD Health Corp., SGI, IBM, and TCS. Ram received a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani, India and a M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In addition, he is a member of MENSA and holds several patents in the U.S.
