Marland Turner is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at American Electric Power since April 2019, Marland previously worked as an Attorney at Marathon Petroleum Corporation from July 2013 to April 2019. Earlier in the career, Marland held the position of Assistant Attorney General at the West Virginia Attorney General's office from May 2012 to July 2013 and served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals from August 2011 to May 2012. Marland holds a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (2011) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from The Ohio State University (2008).
