Abdul Haque

Abdul Haque is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and production processes. Currently serving as a Technical Fellow at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) since July 2014, Abdul leads research projects and manages a diverse team while driving innovation in additive manufacturing technologies. Prior roles at AMRC include Technical Lead in Metal Additive Manufacturing, where Abdul collaborated with stakeholders to showcase the advantages of additive manufacturing, and Project Engineer at Surgical Innovations Ltd, focusing on production suitability of laparoscopic instruments. Abdul's background also includes positions as Process Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, and Trainee Manufacturing Engineer at Sandvik, with a strong foundation in investment casting and rapid prototyping. Educational credentials include ongoing PhD studies in Additive Manufacturing at The University of Sheffield, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and other related qualifications from local institutions.
