Michael Bencaz

Michael Bencaz, SMP, CUSP, currently serves as the Corporate Safety Director at APC Construction, LLC, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Michael was the Director of HSE & Risk Management at Sealevel Construction Inc. from March 2023 to February 2024, and briefly explored new opportunities in early 2023. Michael has held multiple safety leadership positions, including Director of Safety-Power Line Services and Director of Safety - Specialty Services Division at PLH Group, Inc., and HSEQ Manager at Auger Services Inc. Michael's extensive background in health, safety, and environmental management includes tenures at The Mosaic Company, APTIM, Safway Group, Jacobs, and Florida Marine Transporters, where significant responsibilities included personnel management, safety oversight, and operational coordination. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University.
