Chao-Chung Wu

Chao-Chung Wu is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Appier since December 2022, focusing on generative AI by utilizing GPT series models for various text generation tasks and fine-tuning foundation models for specific marketing technology applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at LINE Taiwan Limited from March 2019 to November 2022, where Chao-Chung contributed to the LINE Fact Checker project, and internships at Microsoft, where contributions included refining poetry generation in the XiaoIce chatbot through natural language processing and image-to-poetry applications. Earlier internship experience at Delta Electronics involved the design of recommendation systems. Chao-Chung holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University, completed in 2018 and 2016 respectively.
