Grant Watson

Grant Watson is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Recursion since January 2024, with extensive experience in machine learning and scientific research. Previously, Grant worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Dewpoint Therapeutics from September 2020 to April 2023, and at Phenomic AI from May 2018 to September 2020. Educationally, Grant holds an MSc in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Mathematical Physics from the University of Waterloo. Prior to these roles, Grant also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and Boston University, and engaged in various research assistant positions related to condensed matter theory, data acquisition, and computer vision.
