Jonathan Rees

Jonathan Rees is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and research, focusing on biodiversity informatics and computational biology. Currently serving as a Research Affiliate at Arizona State University, Jonathan assesses the impact of taxonomic change on data. Jonathan has held various prestigious positions, including Research Scholar at Ronin Institute, Software Engineer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Software Architect at both Duke University and NESCent. Jonathan has contributed significantly to projects involving semantic web architecture at W3C and scientific data interoperability at Creative Commons, as well as leading a team at Millennium Pharmaceuticals that developed an award-winning web application for RNA expression analysis.
