James Piechota

James Piechota is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and developing innovative technology solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Arweave since March 2023, James has held significant roles, including Staff Software Engineer at Bond and Engineering Manager at PayJoy, where the Boston Office was launched. James contributed to product strategy and digital voice technology as Vice President of Engineering at VocaliD and was involved in architecting a blockchain-based online payment network at Akamai Technologies. As the founder of Yellow Distributed Technologies, James addressed online payment challenges in the Middle East using Bitcoin. James's early career includes freelancing in software engineering, serving as an Associate at McKinsey & Company, and earning an MBA from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University.
