ASSOCIATION TO BENEFIT CHILDREN
Nikki Filiberto, LMSW, is an experienced Child and Family Therapist at the Association to Benefit Children since June 2022, specializing in psychotherapy and play/creative arts therapy for children and adolescents living in poverty. Additionally, Nikki has served as a Community Habilitation Specialist at AIM Services Inc since June 2020, aiding autistic youth and young adults with daily living and social skills. Previous roles include a School Social Work Intern at Yonkers Montessori Academy, providing counseling to students with various challenges, and a Psychotherapy Intern at HAVEN EMPOWERMENT CENTER, delivering therapy to underserved families. Nikki's foundational experience includes positions as a Community Educator, Activity Specialist, and Library Assistant, complemented by a Master's Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Lehman College.
