Bob Burdett began their work experience in 1983 as the Head of Communication Systems at the Naval Research Laboratory. Bob then transitioned to being the VP of Space Systems at Orbcomm in 1997. In 2003, they joined Avtec Systems, Inc as the VP of Advanced Concepts and Systems, and finally, in 2006, they became the VP of Special Research and Development at Assurance Technology Corporation.
Bob Burdett attended The George Washington University from 1979 to 1985, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, from 1979 to 1984, they also studied at The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, where they earned another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Computer Science.
