Gordon Baty

Gordon Baty is a seasoned user experience and design leader with extensive experience across multiple industries and notable companies. Currently serving as Principal User Researcher at Autodesk since March 2025, Gordon previously held key roles including Principal UX Researcher at Avalara, where strategic initiatives and AI-driven strategies were implemented, and as Head of Design and Research at Vanta, where the first design team was established. With a strong foundation in user experience, Gordon has directed UX teams at Delta Dental, Visa, Gannett, and Marriott International, fostering innovation through research and human-centered design, while achieving high satisfaction rates and driving significant business impact. Gordon's educational background includes an MSc in Human Factors and Human-Computer Interaction from UCL and a BA in Psychology from The University of Sheffield.
