Khang-Nghi Dao

Khang-Nghi Dao is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in hardware development for the automotive and tech industries. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer at AutoX since June 2025, Khang-Nghi focuses on hardware for Infotainment, Telematics, and Autonomous Driving in the robotaxi sector. Previously, Khang-Nghi was the Lead and Manager at Baidu Apollo, overseeing the design and deployment of a driverless robo-taxi EV fleet across multiple cities in China. Khang-Nghi held key engineering roles at Cavnue, Mojo Vision Inc., Postmates Inc., NIO, Tesla Motors, AMD, SeaMicro, and Microsoft, demonstrating expertise in designing innovative hardware solutions. Khang-Nghi holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Sacramento State University and a Bachelor's of Science from the University of California, Davis.
