Job description

The Talent Business Partner provides an all-inclusive range of human resources support to AvidXchange’s teammates. This position is responsible for administering and implementing high-quality, impactful talent programs and policies through partnership with the business and talent centers of excellence such as talent development, total rewards, talent acquisition etc.   

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Responsible for core Talent processes and rhythms including but not limited to performance management, talent management, talent acquisition, learning and professional development, etc.  
  • Develop and administer various programs to meet teammate needs and drive high levels of teammate engagement that create an environment that encourages open and productive interactions  
  • Communicate and serve as a resource for teammates at all levels on HR programs, practices and processes  
  • Advise leaders and teammates on interpreting and applying company policies and procedures  
  • Partner with leaders to develop and drive talent outcomes and implement business and people strategies  
  • Assist in coaching & influencing leaders   
  • Assist in plan development for career growth and development for teammates  
  • Leverage reporting tools to gather, organize data, conduct basis analysis, and develop conclusions to support required action  
  • Facilitates local and/or regional training as needed  
  • Partner with talent acquisition  
  • Support team by ensuring operational excellence  

What we’re looking for: 

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience  
  • 2+ years of previous human resources experience in a fast-paced organization  
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures  
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite  
  • Strong business acumen; understanding of industry and partnership model; matrix environment  
  • Ability to identify patterns of basic risk and liability, to resolve routine issues, and escalate when necessary  
  • Strong ability to be agile and adapt to change  
  • Experience with HR systems, entering data, and running reports
