Michael Ruyter

Michael Ruyter is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Director of International Tax at Axway since October 2013. Prior to this role, Michael held positions including Sr Manager at Ernst & Young from November 2007 to September 2013, and Manager of Taxation at Glamis Gold Ltd from 2005 to 2006. Michael began a career at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where the role of Tax Director was undertaken from 1995 to 2004, and previous experience included work as a Senior Associate in Vancouver. Michael holds a CPA designation obtained in 2008, a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University (2001-2004), and a Chartered Accountant credential earned between 1997 and 1999. Education was completed with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Simon Fraser University (1994-1997).
