Suman Shrestha

Suman Shrestha is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and engineering. Currently serving as the Final Factory Value Stream Leader at BAE Systems, Inc. since November 2018, Suman manages a team of over eight employees, overseeing day-to-day operations. Previously, as a Surface-mount Production Supervisor at Fujitsu Network Communications from June 2014 to June 2018, Suman managed a team of more than twelve employees and implemented continuous improvement methodologies such as TPS, Kanban, and Kaizen. Suman also held the position of Inside Plant Engineer-I, where project management skills were utilized to effectively handle over twenty projects simultaneously. Suman's early experience includes an engineering internship at Piping Technology & Products, Inc., where knowledge of piping fabrication and insulation design was gained. Educational qualifications include an Executive Education certificate in Management from SMU Cox School of Business, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Louisiana Tech University.
