We are currently seeking an exceptional Director of Human Resources to join our leadership team.

The Director of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function. The Director of Human Resources reports to the Vice President & COO.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the organization’s HR strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing HR team that aligns with the company’s growth and culture.
• Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
• Serves as primary contact and administrator for 401k/Profit Sharing Plan.
• Serve as liaison between employees and Milliman (401k/Profit Sharing Plan administrator).
• Administer drug testing program/state drug free workplace submittal.
• Maintain employee handbooks by ensuring the organization’s HR policies are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Administer benefit plans including group health, dental, and other supplemental insurance.
• Lead negotiation process for all group insurance renewal periods.
• Communicate benefit changes, renewals, open enrollment periods to staff.
• Oversee the performance management system to align individual and team performance with organizational goals.
• Develop strategies for employee recognition, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
• Act as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring effective communication and addressing employee concerns.
• Measure employee satisfaction and engagement, implementing programs to improve morale.
• Monitor key HR metrics – (e.g. turnover, hiring, training effectiveness).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Have at least ten (10) years of relevant Human Resources experience.

• Have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience.

• Deep knowledge of HR best practices, including talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Must possess strong documentation, organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

• A strategic thinker who can balance short-term HR needs with long-term organizational development.

• Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• HRIS administrator experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BambooHR, Employee Navigator, E-Verify, Trakstar Perform, and 360Learning preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as an HR leader (HR Director or similar role) with a strong background supporting operations environments.
