Hafez Aboul-Azm

Hafez Aboul-Azm has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as General Manager and Head of the Group of Compliance and Corporate Governance at Banque du Caire since February 2009. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring compliance programs and educating senior management and the Board of Directors on compliance responsibilities. Prior to this role, Hafez held various positions including Head of Retail Risk Management at Banque du Caire, GM of Retail, Credit and Operations at Ahli United Bank, and Head of Consumer Banking in Egypt at Arab Bank PLC. Hafez has also contributed to marketing and product development, branch management, and regional management roles in previous banking positions, having started in the industry as a teller in 1990. Hafez holds a BA in Commerce from Cairo University, completed in 1985.
