Santi Hernandez has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Global Trade & International Banking Europe at BBVA since December 1994. Santi has managed teams in various capacities within Corporate and Investment Banking, overseeing a branch and a team of bank professionals while driving significant revenue in Financial Institutions. Previously, Santi held positions such as Managing Partner at The Iris Group, LLC and served in the Spanish Army. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IE Business School and a Corporate Program for Management from IESE Business School, complemented by a background in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
