Patrick McKinney is a seasoned Senior Design Engineer with extensive experience in leading product development and design projects across various industries. Currently employed at BENCHMADE since January 2022, Patrick previously held senior and design engineering roles at Yakima Products from April 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing complex projects, enhancing product features, and collaborating with vehicle manufacturers for roof rack solutions. Earlier experience at Eaton involved designing electrical power distribution products and training teams in documentation software, while an initial role as an Engineering Co-op at Whirlpool Corporation focused on testing and product improvements in refrigeration. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, earned in 2011.
