Jonathon West

Jonathon West is a highly skilled Methods Engineer at BESIX Watpac, with experience in marine structures, and previously served as Project Engineer for the Kangaroo Point Green Bridge. Prior positions include Project Engineer at BAM International, managing the Woolloongabba TBM Infrastructure, and Site Engineer with Lendlease, overseeing major projects such as the M1M3 Upgrade and Kingsford Smith Drive Marine Structure. Jonathon's career began with Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals, where responsibilities included leading teams in piping engineering, structural steel supervision, and concrete operations. Early experience included roles at Hays Recruitment, Monadelphous, and as an Apprentice Boat Builder at Riviera Australia. Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction from Gold Coast Institute of Tafe.
