This role is an in office position for candidates within a commutable distance of our Irvine location. This role is exempt salary, and pays a range of $100,000.00-$120,000.00 depending on experience. This role is open to candidates who do not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

The Business Application Manager must be able to perform the following tasks on a regular dbasis:

  • Standardize, customize, and optimize business systems in all areas of the company to drive effectiveness and efficiency, including Google Workspace, Google Enterprise, Ubiquity, Windows, Linux, etc.
  • Serve as key liaison and IT point of contact for business leaders and customers
  • Ensuring all applications and associated data are secure, reliable and scalable
  • Collaborate with business leaders on goal setting and connect regarding employee involvement and operational goals
  • System and network monitoring: Monitoring the performance and health of both servers and the network to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Serves as the backbone of our highly automated business processes
  • Collaborate across other departments to identify and prioritize IT needs and projects
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and customers
  • Lead a team of analysts and support staff, providing junior staff with support, mentorship and training.
  • Self-motivated and willing to think outside of the box to help support strategic growth.
  • Understand company strategy and ensure that internal systems align with long-term business goals
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and able to respond to shifting as well as different tasks with competing priorities, while quickly learning and improving new applications and processes
  • Other duties as defined by leadership

Qualifications:

The Business Application Manager must have at least 5 years of experience and be familiar with:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • Must have at least 5 years of IT or Network Systems experience
  • Supervisory experience and training is required
  • Highly skilled working with Microsoft Excel

Strong previous experience supporting complex technical systems such as:

    • Ytel and other VoIP phone systems (TrackDrive, RingCentral, PhoneBurner, CallRail, etc.)
    • CRM and Call Center Software Platforms such as Forth or DebtPayPro (we also will take SalesForce, Monday.com, and others)
    • Ticketing system experience with ZenDesk or other similar platforms
  • Familiarity with creating A/B Testing methodologies
  • Experience managing technical projects or online services
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving network  and software system issues
  • Act as the application specialist on our technology to give insights to company leadership on overall performance and areas of improvement
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team to solve business problems in complex environments.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter

Nice to Have:

  • Previous background in deploying Enterprise level applications from start to finish
  • Certifications such as; Cisco CCNA, RHCT, RHCE certifications are highly desired
  • Experience with Python scripting
  • Familiar with Multivariate testing methods
  • Working with technical documentation and creating process flow diagrams
