BIDS Trading is a licensed broker-dealer that runs the Alternative Trading System (ATS), a platform that allows anonymous trading of large shares between counterparties. It solves the age-old block trader problem of needing to locate reliable trading partners without disclosing one's trading intentions in advance. All eligible broker-dealersand their institutional clients may participate, subject to satisfying the minimal regulatory and credit conditions.
