Gary Latham

Gary Latham currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Bio-Techne since August 2023. Prior to this role, Latham was the Chief Scientific Officer at Asuragen, a Bio-Techne brand, from April 2021 to August 2023. Latham's tenure at Asuragen began in March 2006, during which time Gary held multiple positions including Senior Vice President of R&D and Vice President of Research and Technology Development. Earlier in Latham's career, experience includes serving as Senior Scientist and Group Leader at Ambion, Inc. and as Research Scientist and Lab Manager at ZymeTx, Inc. Gary Latham earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University and completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Biophysics and Enzymology at the University of Oregon.
