Michael Rolnick

Michael Rolnick is the current advisor at Blockchain Capital. Michael was brought in as the CEO of Gigaom in January 2015 to assess the long-term viability of the company. Michael orchestrated the company wind down and sale of business assets. Michael was with UNIFI Labs from January 2015 to December 2018 as the CEO. Michael's mission there was to transform the building industry by offering a platform to discover, manage and contextualize the data used to design, construct and operate buildings. Prior to that, they were with News Corp from January 2013 to December 2014 as the Chief Digital Officer & Global Head of Digital for Dow Jones. In that role, they were responsible for growing and managing audience development, subscriber acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization activities for Dow Jones' core $400 m+ consumer businesses.

Michael Rolnick has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan. Michael also attended Georgetown Day School.
