Tim Benter has over two decades of work experience in various Vice President roles. From 2021 onwards, they are currently serving as the Vice President and General Counsel at Blue Compass RV. Previously, they worked at Republic Services for a significant part of their career. From 2016 to 2020, they held the role of Vice President of Engineering and Environmental Compliance. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2016, they served as the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary. Lastly, from 1998 to 2008, they worked as the Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary at Republic Services.
Tim Benter has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Tim also holds a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. Prior to that, Tim earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business.
In terms of additional certifications, Tim completed the RV Retailer Executive Leadership Program from Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education in June 2022. Tim is also an active member of The Florida Bar, having obtained their certification from The Florida Bar, though the specific month and year are unknown.
