Steve Garrish

Steven Garrish, MBA, CDS, CTP, currently serves as Vice President of Safety and Compliance at Old Dominion Freight Line since July 2021. Garrish has extensive experience in safety leadership roles, previously holding positions such as Vice President of Safety at CRST International and Senior Vice President of Safety and Regulatory Compliance at SleepSafe Drivers, Inc. Prior to these roles, Garrish was the Senior Director of Private Fleet Safety at Walmart, overseeing a large fleet of drivers and vehicles, and served as Vice President of Safety and Human Resources at Wilson Trucking Corporation. Garrish's career at J.B. Hunt Transport included multiple roles culminating in Safety Director, alongside military service as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army Reserve. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Leadership and Ethics from John Brown University and a BBA in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from Georgia Southern University.
