The Opportunity:
BluMetric Environmental Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Intermediate Bilingual Office Administrator (OA) to join our team, collaborating with other OAs across various office locations to ensure seamless and efficient operations. This position involves a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including managing Corporate Registrations, overseeing and managing insurance requests, supervising document control, formatting, compiling, and printing reports, handling phone calls through our VOIP system, managing multiple Outlook inboxes, responding to inquiries, and coordinating events within the Ottawa office. This on-site role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset.
Conducts and presents self in a professional manner, maintaining a professional image and demeanour to internal and external clients.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while taking initiative to improve processes and outcomes.
Strong alignment with organizational policies, values, and a commitment to excellence.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new office software or technology as required.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
