Break Through Tech
Carla E. Brodley is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of computer science, currently serving as the Dean of Inclusive Computing and Founding Executive Director of the Center for Inclusive Computing at Northeastern University since July 2021. Brodley has held various prominent positions, including Vice Chair and Member of the Board of Trustees at The Jackson Laboratory since September 2020, and previously served as Professor and Dean at Northeastern University's Khoury College of Computer Sciences from August 2014 to June 2021. Prior experience includes a tenure as Professor of Computer Science and Chair at Tufts University from 2004 to 2014 and an Associate Professorship in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University from 1994 to 2004. Educational achievements include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University.
